Parents

Involved and Empowered

Our goal is to prepare children for Kindergarten success while providing parents with the tools necessary to be empowered and equal partners in the educational process. We are able to achieve this goal through partnerships with Rowe Elementary School, the UIC Center for Literacy, Chicago Public Library, and Erikson Institute Early Math Collaborative.

Volunteer

We welcome and encourage parents to volunteer their time to help out with activities at our center. Volunteering is a great opportunity to invest in your child's education while serving others in the community. Here are just a few ways that parents can volunteer and get involved.

Classroom Volunteering

Center Meetings

Parent Education Workshops

Homework Assistance

Speak with your child's Teacher or another Early Childhood staff member about how to get involved.

Resources & Workshops

We firmly believe that parents and families are equal partners in the process of educating students. Therefore, we offer a variety of interesting and educational workshops for parents and families. These include but are not limited to Family Wellness, Child Development, Immigration, Job Skills and much more!
